[17th Party] Brought to a wonderful close

Thanks to so many of you, it became a wonderful party again this year.

Thanks to the cooperation of many people, we were able to hold a wonderful party — our heartfelt thanks.

We also received many beautiful flowers that brightened the party.

It stays with me how everyone naturally smiled and took commemorative photos among the lovely flowers placed at the entrance.

This year's toast was given by Ms. Chieko Yamamoto.

She is a great senior who has cared for our representative Mako Karibe since her days active in the American dance scene.

Thank you for your wonderful speech.

Mr. Kiyoshi Arai of Dance Studio Actress also rushed over to the party.

He always looks after not only our representative Karibe but the whole staff — we are nothing but grateful.

The pro show was enjoyed by all

Our studio staff also practiced eagerly so guests could enjoy dancing quite different from our usual competition style.

This time the opening featured the four members of the Hosaka and Higurashi couples in male roles, with Mako Karibe as the sole woman.

We believe the formation, with the men switching one after another, was enjoyed by all who attended.

For the return demonstration, Mr. Shosui performed.

Each year we ask wonderful people to partner Mako Karibe for the return demonstration; this year Mr. Shosui performed with her.

It was such a superb performance you'd never think it a one-time partnership — we felt the aura of "a true top professional dancer."

Incidentally, Mako's hair changes are one of the fun parts too. Often in male roles, she always changes her hair a little to match her dress.

And before the professional section, she changes her hairstyle even more dramatically. In fact, to match Mr. Shosui, her partner for the final demo, she went for a competitor-style up-do!

Next year's party will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025

Next year, on Monday, April 28, 2025, we'll hold Spring Banquet again in the Fuyo Room at Hotel New Otani.

We'll prepare so that everyone attending and performing enjoys it even more than this year.

We look forward to seeing you at the venue again next year.
