American Smooth
Born in America, American Smooth is based on ballroom dance but adds free expression and Latin-flavored elements. In the U.S. it is a popular competitive style — alongside the ten International dances — with pro-am events held nationwide throughout the year.

Yes. Our representative, Mako Karibe, worked at a studio in the U.S. teaching American Smooth and Rhythm. So we can teach everything from the basics to competition level and demonstration choreography.
It does — but American Smooth has fundamentals, too. Learning them well lets you dance more gorgeously and beautifully. Because these basics are hard to learn in Japan, TEAM also holds workshops for professional dancers.
