On November 3 (Culture Day), the "Unified All-Japan Dance Championship — Madame Ro Cup" was held!

The Unified All-Japan Dance Championship was held in Shinagawa, Tokyo.

The All-Japan is held every year, but this time it was reborn as the "Madame Ro Cup." Our studio's athletes took part too, and it became a rewarding competition where each could gauge their challenges.

The Hiten Room is a gorgeous venue with a chandelier on the ceiling.

With the Unified in mind, the world-class dance coach Mr. Glenn Weiss came to Japan again for the first time in a while and gave lessons at TEAM. He carefully checked the athletes he'd coached.

After the Unified, Mr. Glenn left for Italy, but he'll return to Japan next week and resume lessons.

It's a joy to be able to take, in Japan, a lesson from Mr. Glenn, who develops the world's top athletes.

After a few days of lessons in Tsurumi, he plans to stop by the studio of professional dancer Mr. Ogawa in Sendai, whom our representative Mako Karibe coaches, and give lessons there.

Tohoku dancers who are curious, please contact Mr. Ogawa.

Mr. Ogawa's blog is here.

The website of Social Dance Company Ogawa is here.

From November there are more competitions and parties. The athletes are very busy, but if you spot a TEAM staff member, please say hello ♪
